Phone service stopped working on Galaxy S3
Running LineageOS 7.1.2 on a Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747. Account is pre-paid.
SIM status shows AT&T network, HSPA, in service, signal strength -113 dBm (yeah, I know: I live in a cell-phone shadow).
Can't send or receive calls or texts - Sending to the phone says the phone is not available. Sending from the phone times out with a distinctive series of beeps. Oddly enough, turning airplane mode on and off sometimes shows UMTS, in which case, an initial call goes through just fine.
Any suggestions?

Greetings @clbrooks97,
Making sure our services are working is essential to how we communicate with our family and friends! I would like to provide help today!
I would highly recommend using our great resource to troubleshoot. This will be our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Once you click on it please choose Make and Model> Phone Calls. It will then guide you through step by step to ensure your device is working.
The next thing you will want to do is make sure your phone’s system is up to date to discard any issues related to the Software. Please follow the steps below to check;
1. From your phone please go home screen,
2. Press the Menu key and tap Settings.
3. From the More tab, tap about device.
4. Tap Software update > Check for updates.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
6. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.
I hope you find this useful! Have a great rest of your day! Let us know how it goes!
