Phone calls

Whenever I am making a phone call on my Galaxy S8+ I will hit the send or call button and it takes about 15 seconds for the first ring. I had to make a 911 call a few nights ago and it took 15 seconds before the first ring. This is not acceptable!! Any suggestions? I have been on the phone with tech support several times but can not seem to get this solved. I have the Newest software updates and got one last night. It was a 100 meg update. Thanks in advance for any help.

We hate to hear that your phone calls were not connecting as they should. Let us offer a helping hand!

 

Does your device has trouble receiving phone calls or texts messages? Has anyone else experienced the same call error in your area? Are you able to connect to available WIFI?

 

When making phone calls, depending on the area, inclement weather, or network congestion, the symptoms can affect the cellular network as well as devices that are connected.

 

Feel free to access our AT&T Coverage Map to check for current cellular connectivity in your area. If that does not work, you can also use the Device Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool/ Galaxy S8    by selecting Phone Calls in the Service/Network Issues tab and follow the steps.
