Phone Service

ATT keep dropping calls.  This is happening most everyday.  Do I have to switch to T-Mobile????  And my Samsung battery is draining!  I've blocked all aps.  shut down aps and nothing is running.  Must be something in the background that I can't find!

Check your settings. Your phone tells you what's using your battery. Keep in mind batteries get worse with age

My battery is optimized and nothing is running. It has to be an app in the
background that's running. My phone is fairly new, barely a year old. I
had this problem with my old phone and traded it in for this new one.
Same problem!

Again, check your settings. It tells you what's using it

Dropped calls could be due to the phone. If you are having battery issues, perhaps your dropped call issue is the phone, not the network.

Ok, so I was on the chat line 4 times today cause the chat line kept
disconnecting. I had a wonderful agent who helped me with my batter and
apps.

I did the troubleshooting on the ATT site and when I selected the option
"restart Network" It seemed to work for awhile. Then when I tried to call
someone they could hardly hear me. Then the calls started dropping again.
I went online to chat again and the next agent cleaned up my apps and fixed
my battery. Then tried calling and again calls kept dropping. So I got
the 3rd agent. He tried to call me and he got the voicemail that I have
been complaining about for a long time. He finally figured out I need a
new sim card. Of course I lost the chat line again! so the 4th one
finally got my address to send me a new sim card.

I sure hope this fixes all the problem I have been having. I seriously
though of switching to T-Mobile!
