@ATTCustomerCare

isn't this post a little LATE...  The phone started preorders on Friday 3/2

Re: The Samsung GS9 and GS9+ PeoOrder Today with AT&T

Pre-ordering is a joke anyways.  I pre-ordered on 3/2 and my phone still hasn't shipped out, yet I see lots of people who pre-ordered after I did and they are already receiving their phones. I don't see any advantage in pre-ordering anymore when it obviously isn't a first come first serve basis.

I should have ordered Samsung direct or maybe with another carrier, they seem to be more consistent with shipping out and fulfilling pre-orders.

@tommy8316

I preordered with Best Buy. $100 off, $300 for my trade in GS7.  Pick up Friday

(The following is included after all posts to save typing) I don’t work for AT&T. My replies are based on experience and reading content available on the website. Our answers are honest, but not always appreciated. If you posted personal information, please edit and remove.

Re: The Samsung GS9 and GS9+ PeoOrder Today with AT&T

I probably should have done this as well.  If I was going to have to wait until the actual release date to get the phone I might as well have gotten it at a better price.

Lesson learned.

BTW - I spoke to @ATTCustomerCare and they told me that it would be shipped today, but I still have yet to receive a notification and Fedex nor UPS are showing anything coming my way.

Re: The Samsung GS9 and GS9+ PeoOrder Today with AT&T

@ATTCustomerCare no shipping notice, it's end of day 3/15 and no word on phone delivery that I preordered the day it was available for pre-order.

5 support chats and several calls to your customer service and loyalty departments got me to: the Spanish speaking Uverse, Internet group, the ecommerce, and online order departments.  And I still have no update, no tracking number, no idea when I'll be receiving a phone that I preordered 2 weeks ago.

Also, I can't cancel that order and go into a physical store to get the phone because this lost/limbo pre-order has blocked my ability to upgrade my existing phone.  So basically I'm stuck sitting here waiting for something no one has any information about and no one can help me.

This is a terrific experience.
