Hello @tduncan68!

I understand how receiving the error message, “Oops! Something went wrong. We'll fix it Soon. Report this error” can very bothersome.  Let us see what we need to do to get this fixed.

First thing to try, power the phone off for 30 seconds and then power it back on.  This is always the first thing to try when the phone is acting strangely.

Since you are getting this error message, when you are not even using the phone, it sounds like something is running in the back ground.  To clear out any running apps, click the square button on the bottom of your phone.   This should bring up a list of all the programs running.  At the bottom of the list you should see close call, please tap it.

If the issue persists, you will have to back up & restore the phone.   Here is a link to the instructions for the Samsung Galaxy Express 3.  You will need your USB Cable and a computer to complete this process.  Connect the Micro USB end of the cable to the charge port on your phone.  Connect the other end to a USB Port on your computer.  On the phone swipe down and tap Connected as a media device > Transferring media files or Transferring Images > on your computer click the Windows start icon > Computer > Device Drive (your Phone).  Then open a separate window on your computer > scroll to your desired backup location and folder.  Then drag the files you want to backup from the phone to the computer.

Once you have successfully backed up your important data, you will then need to reset the device.  To reset your phone go to Settings > Backup and reset > Factory Data reset > Reset Device > Delete All.

Thank you for using the AT&T Forums and have a great weekend.
