I know a lot of people who are waiting desperately for this update, and quite a few that are upset that even Sprint got theirs first by weeks. I have recommended this phone, and have had friends and family buy it, and all of them want Google Now since I have demoed it for them on my Nexus 4 and said it was coming to the Optimus G.

Quite right, as they have to spend extra time to lock down the One X's firmware again like the 1.85 version. Can't have people rooting!

So based on how long it took for the One X, I am expecting the official JB 4.1 update in June to July.
