Note 2(i317) 4.3 Android Upgrade

Hello All,

My AT&T android still doesnt show up the Android 4.3 Update....

Current Android Version : 4.1.2
Baseband Number : I317UCAMC3

When ever I check for Software update, it says "Your software up-to date" and When I connect through Samsung Kies and check for Update, Samsung Kies says "Your Firmware is not Supported"...

Please suggest.

Thank in advance.

Just something to consider.  with the Note 2 (I have one) when going to 4.3 many users are expirencing the following issues after the update:

  • extremly low battery life
  • Applications freezing, crashing and not working
  • lock up of phone requiring removing the battery to reset.

and there are others.  Seems that the coding is wrong with the update, and maybe AT&T froze updates to certain devices because of this?

This is my current perdicitment after the update, and I now want to be back at 4.2,

just something to consider before you do this.

good luck on the update issue, and remember to include as many details as you can so you can get help faster.

Saying my phone is broke and ABC does not work usually will not get you far.

Try including the following

  • from the Settings application scroll down and tap About Device
  • include all the info that is greyed out
  • also list your applications you downloaded
  • and what options you use such as: wifi, NFC, Kites, etc, etc, and anything else you would like
  • NEVER INCLUDE your real name, email, phone number or address.  Only do that when contaction ATT support
  • Also list what steps (if any) you have tried to fix your issues)

Doing this allow members to not only know your issue, but if you say something like, My WiFi stopped working and you list that your WiFi icon is not working then someone with the same issue can help.

good luck

UPDATE???

I have the same problem.

I have an unlocked SGH-i317, Android Verion 4.1.2

Baseband version i317UCAMH3

I have had no real issues with 4.1.2 except now many new Apps require a newer version of Android to even run.

When I try to upgrade with Kies, it says "This is the latest firmware".  If AT&T or Samsung is having problems with 4.3, at least offer 4.2 again for those stuck on 4.1.

Somebody please respond.  Thanks!
