Not getting the update for my lg v10

I am not in USA, am from the Caribbean. I have a lg v10 now that can't be updated to Marshmellow. Everytime I check for new updates it keeps telling me that my phone is up to date. My phone isn't rooted, haven't tampered with any settings, no flash... So I don't see why it's hindering me from receiving the update .... Or is it that the Caribbean region don't get OTA updates ... Cause this isnt the first at&t phone that I have had this problem with.
Please help
