I am so sorry to hear you have been having issues with your Nokia Lumia receiving group text messages lately. Being able to text multiple people all at one time is a great way to be able to communicate. I would be more than happy to assist you!

Are you able to send a group messages to at least 2 other contacts in your phone? If so, is the issue only when you attempt to receive the message? Do you ever see a attachment being downloaded on your phone to indicate an MMS message has been received? The first thing we will want to check is to ensure you have the correct settings turned on.

From the home screen please tap on the Messaging icon. From here, click on the Menu icon, then tap settings. Here you will be able to see if you have MMS enabled on the device. Please make sure this is toggled on. Another thing you will want to make sure is toggled on is your data or your Wi-Fi.

Because MMS messages when sent in a group message are similar to a picture message, having either your Wi-Fi or data turned on is a great way to ensure you’re able to download the attachment and view the message.
