Need to unlock my phone for international travel...
I am working at a position that requires me to travel internationally and am unable to change the SIM card in my Samsung 6s edge phone to a local one. I didn't realize this would be the case for a gophone since I paid for the entire phone myself when I got it. I am currently on travel and I can't even call ATT international about it. I tried to use the sites unlocking option but it says I would have needed the phone for 6 months. I have had this phone for much longer than that so there shouldn't be an issue. Does anyone know how I can fix this??

All ATT phones are locked out of the box. Logically, how is it unlocked just because you paid full price? The phone doesn't know the difference.
quick solution, Buy or rent a cheap phone and yours will work on wifi. It would take a couple days to unlock your phone.
If you completed 6 consecutive paid months of Gophone service with this phone, you can get it unlocked. It should have worked through the portal.
