Howdy @Jjbour07!

I definitely understand how concerning it can be if you AT&T SIM card is not working in your device. It would be an absolute pleasure, being able to assist with getting everything working again for you.

The first thing we will want to check is the SIM itself; to see if there is any damage to it. Once it’s been removed from your device, please check the gold side of the card. You will want to see if there is any discoloration or scratches. If there are, it may mean your SIM card is damaged, and needs to be replaced.

If you need to replace your SIM, the easiest way to do it is by visiting your local AT&T Company Store. Using our handy, Store Locator Tool, you can find the nearest one to you! You can also schedule an appointment to cut down on wait times as well. The best part however, if replacing the SIM card is absolutely free to you.

If your SIM card has not been activated, it won’t be able to be used within a phone until turned on. We do have a great article which does go over how to activate a SIM card for your device. You can also activate it online by visiting att.com/activations; once there, please follow the online prompts to activate your phone.

Please let us know if this helps resolve your SIM errors. If you continue having any issues after this, feel free to reach back out to us here on this thread. Have a fantastic rest of your day!
