I have followed these instructions to no avail I am extremely upset and tired with this. Nothing I have researched has given me a solution and I had to make an account here just to try and get help.
1. Power off the device, remove the battery, and insert a non-AT&T SIM card.
2. Re-insert the battery and power on the device with non-AT&T SIM.
3. The device displays” Enter the device unlock code.”
4. Enter the unlock code.
5. Press OK.

We understand how this can be frustrating. Go into the dial screen and press #7465625*638*# and it should ask you for the unlock code. If it doesn't, could you let us know if you've received an error code and, if so, what it was?
