My AT&T wifi calling says "please try to set up wifi calling again later."
I have been unable to use my wifi calling since April 9th. Everytime i try to turn it on, it says, "please try to set up wifi calling again later." It was working fine the day before and months before that. Ive conducted a reset of all stored wifi connections and that didnt help. Does anyone know how i could fix this on my S8?
I have called AT&T 3 times for the same issue in the past 2/3 weeks and i received the same resolution. That they will contact advance tech and they will contact me within 24-48 hrs, but that never happens.

Hello @Cheekitout,
Thank you for informing us. In order for you to be able to use your cell phone to talk and text over an active Wi-Fi connection like before, it must be provisioned for Wi-Fi Calling again. This will be completed after you follow the steps to set it up on your cell phone. Since you're having issues with setting up Wi-Fi Calling, please follow the steps at this link to Backup the data on your device, then Perform a factory data reset. Once the reset is completed, you can Restore your data from the backup that you made, and follow these steps to try and Set up Wi-Fi Calling again. Let us know if this helps.

That's crap... A factory reset really time consuming getting your account linked to the pay apps. Passwords etc... Then it's messages to in a few days again! Ridiculous. AT&T reps basically tell me the sky is pink & grass is blue... It's really getting old.

Try these:
o Enable Mobile Hotspot (with or without network signal)/ Disable again inside your wifi range
o Disable bluetooth
o Disable/enable HD data setting
One of these helped kick my wifi calling into working again.
Background
I had a similar problem, the little (+) stopped showing up on my wifi icon. Wifi calling worked great for months (not as good as my microcell though which just stopped working as it could no longer connect to a cell tower, bring back the microcells but let them be disconnected from the cellular network... That made no sense!)
It just stopped working one day. I had some changes on my internet provider, plus phone applications. Something messed it up.
I finally got it to work again after weeks of outage. I think what really helped kick it in the head was that I enabled my Mobile Hot Spot, but it could not connect because I have no signal in the house. I also messed with my Blue Tooth by disabling it. I had also messed with the HD data settings which might of helped.
I also tried changing my 911 emergency address a few times, but that did not seem to help.

I agree, everything with these people is "factory reset". that's the only darn thing they know how to say, it's their way of skirting you off to the next guy.
