Moto z2 Force Unlock Problem
I bought used Motorola phone z2 force on ebay and now I have a problem with unlock code. Phone have AT&T logo on the back and software. Now I am abroad and I need to use this phone. I am 100% sure this is the right IMEI number from the phone. IMEI number from phone match the number from the box. Please help me
When I check unlock status I get this information:
Current status - Denied
-
Your unlock request was denied because the IMEI number doesn't match a device that's compatible with the AT&T network.
Check the IMEI number by dialing *#06#, or check the device settings, and then submit a new request.

Hello there!
In order to unlock your device it cannot be active on another account and it is required to be active on our network for at least 60 days (AT&T prepaid). Feel free to view our other device unlock eligibility requirements.
We hope this information helps!

Hi, @Fliperson,
Phones need to be unlocked from the carrier they use. From the message you've received, it sounds like this device was not on our network, even though it was AT&T branded. You will need to get in touch with the person you bought it from to have the phone unlocked.
For your own safety and security, you probably want to edit your post and remove the IMEI number from public view.
Have a great week!

support and at&t doesn't want to help me. This situation is very
disappointing. This phone isn't cheap and all I can do now is use wifi
without network because no one know how to unlock it and I am abroad.
Embarrassing

I checked with ATT on moto z2 force unlock. They said motorola did not not supply them with an unlock code. Then when I checked with moto they clearly mentioned that there is no way they can unlock it as the phone is not meant to be as per the design.
