MMS not wroking for Samsung GS 2 Skyrocket
My wife's has a Skyrocket running Android 4.1. She told me she has been receiving messages that required downloading that she could not open. I am pretty sure those were MMS. She has the 3 or 4G data on all the time and I don't think that was the issue. Does anyone know if the stock messaging app can handle MMS or there are certain settings to enable the MMS.

MMS must be recieved using mobile data (rather than nice, free wifi).
Check the manual online on the subject.
Check her settings which may restrict or prohibit large MMS downloads.

Finally, I was "allowed" to take a close look of the Skyrocket to find out exactly what was going on. The MMS actually works. It was the 4G not being on was the problem just as the reply was pointing out. When the 4G was turned on, everything was fine.
The 4G was not on due to another problem. She installed a widget to control the 4G manually. Becasue when the 4G is on, the phone would stay on 4G regardless there is wifi. The phone gets hot and kills the battery quickly. So that will be my next problem to tackle.
