LG K30 Battery Saver Issue

I have a new K-30 which has worked just fine until about a week ago. One day, the battery was getting low, so I turned on Maximum battery saver mode until I could get to a charger. Later, after I plugged the device in, I went to turn off the mode. I turned it off, and the mode loaded to the "off" indicator. However, the "visual aspects" that the Maximum mode popup refers to was still in black and orange, but the haptics and animations were acting normally. Technically, I wouldn't mind that the visuals got stuck, since I like orange and many Android users are excited for when Android Q will introduce a toggleable, system-wide dark mode. However, I can't get the graphics to reset, nor can I enable Maximum mode again. I like the dark mode, but I would like to have control of my battery saver again. NOTE: The Extended battery saver option works just fine. If there is any technical info needed to troubleshoot this problem, please reply as such.

Hi @GoldenHand

Thank you for reaching out to us today. Let's try doing a soft reset by pressing and holding the Power button and Volume Down until the device powers off then release. Restart the device then see if you're still experiencing this issue.

If the graphics are still stuck, try doing a master reset. First, make sure you've backed up any data that you want to keep. Then turn off the device, press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons until the LG logo appears. When the logo appears, release and re-hold Power while continuing to hold the Volume down button. When the 'Delete all user data (including LG and carrier apps) and reset all settings' message appears, use the Volume down button to highlight Yes. Press the Power button to reset the device.

We hope this helps; please let us know if you require any additional assistance.

Disappointed that a full factory reset was needed to fix the problem, but at least it worked. 5 months and working fine! I also have vowed to not use Maximum again, because I don't want to reset again.
