LG G Pad 7.0 LTE (LG-V410) Firmware Problem

LG G Pad 7.0 LTE (LG-V410) Firmware Problem

I have an LG G Pad 7.0 LTE (LG-V410) tablet and I have an app that continues to crash despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with the app vendor.

It is at the point that something must be wrong with the Android firmware that is currently loaded on this tablet.  I have the current version available from AT&T, Android 5.0.2 Ver. V41020c

Most devices running Lollipop say they are version 5.1.

Will this tablet be getting an upgrade to Lollipop 5.1 or even Marshmallow?

If not, is there a way to force the tablet to redownload the current Android firmware?  I have done a system reset multiple times and that has never resolved my problem.  It appears all this does is erase the data files but does not erase and reinstall the firmware.

Hi there @nhoward14!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, malfunctioning applications are always troublesome!

At the moment, it seems you are on the latest update we have for the G Pad 7, my apologies for that!

The best way to flash the OS on the tablet would be to head to a nearby Device Service Center, as this is a service they will happily provide for you!

I hope you find that useful! Have a fantastic day!
