Joining a family plan from another family plan

I am currently in a family plan but thinking of changing to another family plan because my friend wanted to terminate their line. Is it possible to transfer my line to the other family plan through online, or do I have to go to the nearest AT&T store to get it done?

If you’re the account holder, you’re more than welcome to manage your data only plan online. Learn how to change, renew, or cancel your current subscription simply by following these steps.

@LokiJien I have no idea why ATTCares posted that link but you can transfer your line from one account to another online. The account owner of the plan you are on needs to initiate a transfer of billing responsibility of your line to the other account owner here: https://www.att.com/tobr/tobrHomePage.rt. When the account owner accepts the transfer, they can add you to their plan.
