Is there an easier way to block numbers

When I had Verizon I could just get a quick menu with an option to add a number to a blocked call list which seemed to be unlimited. I seemed to be blocking calls every day and had Verizon for years. With AT&T it seems like I have to write the number down and add it to a list that has a limited number of entries allowed. Am I missing an easier way to block calls? Thanks

You have a couple of options, depending on the phone/OS.

For Android phones on AT&T, you can block a number in the phone app by clicking on the call log > details > hamburger menu (three dots in upper right) > block number.  You are limited to 100 blocked numbers.

I highly recommend the free AT&T Call Protect app for Android.  This free app & service blocks/flags known spammers/fraudulent calls as well as enabling you to block an unlimited number of additional callers.  Currently, numbers you add are blocked for 30 days.  However, AT&T has indicated that they will support permanent blocking in the future.
