IMEI of AT&T device looks doesn’t match an AT&T device.

Hello,

I bought AT&T devece at eBay marked as "Clean ESN - ready for activation with AT&T". But I'm from another country and want to unlock device.

But when I entered IMEI at ATT unlock service I see:

"Looks like the IMEI number you entered doesn’t match an AT&T device. Try entering it again. Dial *#06# on your mobile phone to make sure you have the right IMEI."

Device - Samsung Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920A

Ugh.   What you should have purchased was an unlocked device.   That notice indicates the phone was never used on AT&T.

“Ready for activation on AT&T” indicates it’s locked and no assurance it can be unlocked- ever.

I suggest you contact the seller to see if it can be unlocked.

Ohm. But device have AT&T logo and was sent to me with AT&T SIM card.

Can this device unlocked from AT&T service lock if it isn't marked as "Bad Esn" at AT&T database?

Do you can help me with this problem?

P.s. Big thanks for quick reply and attention for my problem.

No, we can’t help.  This is a customer populated forum, not Support.
