I keep getting text messages from numbers I have registered as spam
I have an LG V10 with AT&T. I keep getting annoying group text messages. I have registered the numbers as spam, but I keep getting very annoying group messages from the registered numbers. Actually, these are people I know, and I have asked them to remove me, but they don't, so I get messages that I don't care about, followed by 10 to 20 one or two word replies, like "wow" or "That's Cool". What can I do about this? Is there an Android app that will once and for all block these numbers?

Welcome to the Community Forums! I know how irritating it can be to receive unwanted group messages; with this being said, I’d be more than happy to assist you with this.
There is no way to remove yourself from a group text: however, you can go into Messages app > Select conversation > Menu icon (top right) > Mute Conversation. This way your phone won’t alert you of the responses.

Unfortunately the options suggested are not available on my Android LG V10. "Select Conversation" and "Mute Conversation" are not available on my phone.

Hello @1Dennis1,
Thank you for reaching back out. After further research and testing it out on a V10 I am only able to find the option to mute all notifications. There are some third party apps which can help you mute the conversations, you can find these in the Google Play Store.
