Huawei P9 Lite configuration for... AT&t Prepaid.

I brought my unlocked Huawei P9 Lite here (CA, USA) from the Philippines and bought a prepaid sim card from an AT&T store. Customer service who assisted did some configurations to my phone but could not activate the prepaid service/AT&t.... customer service was not able to activate the plan in my phone. I also did some APN configurations I got over the internet, but non worked... any solution to this? The customer service said my phone is unlocked but can't figure how to get it working..

Thank you.

Hello @Ericdlp,

Thank you for brinigng this to our attention! We definitely want to make sure you are able to enjoy your new device on our AT&T network. I would love to help!

It looks like you have attempted some pretty great troubleshooting steps! Checking the APN settings on an unlocked device is definitely the first step to take in this case. At this time, we recommend reaching out to the previous carrier to ensure the device has been fully unlocked from their network. Even if unlocked, the phone may not work under AT&'s network.

To ensure you have been provided with the best support, I will also be reaching out through a private message to your Forums Inbox to gather additional details to double check into your account. Please be on the lookout for my message.

I hope you have an amazing rest of your day!
