How to uninstall myAT & T

Hello, I have a huge problem. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone, is the last one is completely blocked by this application "myAT & T" it is blocking me the networks as well as my mobile data and prevents me from making the updates of my device. Is there a way to uninstall it completely? For information, I am from France.

Thank you in advance!

I can't imagine how myAT&T app can block network connection and mobile data. For AT&T phone, you cannot uninstall myAT&T but you can disable it. As for updating the firmware, you cannot do it in France. AT&T updates the firmware using OTA with wifi in US only. Also you have to have an active AT&T simcard.

Good afternoon @Lecyon,

It is my understanding you are having issues with “My AT&T Address Book” on your device.  We understand you need to get this turned off.  I will be happy to offer my assistance.

This is going to be a two part process.  Step 1 is as follows;

1.    Go to Contacts on your phone.

2.    Click on the Menu icon (three dots) and select Settings.

3.    Click Contacts.

4.    Select Accounts.

5.    Click on the Menu icon and turn off Auto Sync.

Once you have completed the above process, power the phone off then back on.  When the phone comes back on, repeat the above steps, this time turn Auto Sync back on.  This should bring up myAT&T Address Book.  Click on it and turn off Auto Sync Contacts.  Restart the phone one more time.

Thank you asking your question on the Community Forums, and have a wonderful holiday season!
