How to recover lost photos after a factory reset

My friend did a factory reset on her galaxy s4 and didn't realize she didn't have her photos backed up to Google. Nor does she use Facebook or Samsung as backup areas. Is there anyway she can still recover her photos?

I don't believe so. A factory reset completely wipes everything except for the system on the phone. Does she use an SD card? If so they may be on there still.

If you have forgotten to take the backup data on Google account then, you can also check your local backup on the setting app. You can also bring back the lost data from local backup after factory reset if you already enable this option on setting. If you doesn't able to retrieve data from local backup then, you can also try Android data recovery software on PC. It may be help you to recover deleted photos and other files from smartphone.
