We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into why you're having issues with group messaging on your new Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. We recommend using our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool to fix issues with group messaging. Simply select your device and issue, then follow the steps to find a helpful solution. Also, did you recently switch from an Apple iPhone to your Samsung Galaxy S8 Active? If so, please be sure to Deregister from Apple iMessage. You may need to turn off iMessage if you are now using a non-Apple phone and can't get SMS or text messages someone sends you from an iPhone. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Useless information & nothing works~went from Samsung s7 edge to samsung s9+ & group messaging is still messed up!! Now wife’s iPhone is encountering the same with no change to device!!! >=( Read all troubleshooting & performed them all without resolution~maybe AT&T needs to reboot their messaging server~But they would never admit the issue being theirs~it’s always user error right??? Been an at&t customer over 20 yrs & seriously thinking of shopping for a new provider!! >=(

Yes, I have not been receiving my group text messages. Been searching multiple forums. I tried the troubleshooting and resolve tool to absolutely no avail. Please help

I have had the same issue with my S8+ for months now and also tried resolving the issue by using the troubleshooting tool. Waste of time! I set the Messaging app as my default instead of using the AT&T messaging app. Once in the Messaging app, go to settings (3 dots in the upper right corner) and make sure group conversation is turned on. Hope this helps
