Getting rid apps on my phone

I have a Kyocera-E6820, with hardware version 1010 and Android version 6.0.1 software from AT&T. I would like to find out how to either get rid of some of the preloaded apps or at least disable them in such a way that they don't re-enable the upgrades to the apps.

There are three categories of preinstalled apps:

1) few might be able to be uninstalled

2) apps can't be uninstalled but can be disabled

3) apps can neither be uninstalled nor disabled

Go to settings, app manager, select the app. You will see the option for uninstall or disable. If the disable is grey out, there is nothing you can do about that app.
