Galsaxy S6 edge won't update the OS
Hello, my S6 edge has the same version of Android as when the phone was released in April 2015 (Android 5.0.2. Build number LRX22G.G925AUCU1AOE2) I have had the phone since Jauary, and it has not updated to 5.1 or 6. Went to a retail store and was told that just because a phone won't update that there is not necessarily anything wrong with the phone. Absolutely no help at all. Check for updates from my phone always says it's up to date. Really don't want to try and side load an update. Any ideas or anyone know how to force it? I've tried wiping the cache partition and even backed up my data and did a factory reset. Please help!

take the phone to a samsung experience center inside a best buy and have them flash it for you.

That did it! They plugged it in to their laptop, it showed an update available and when it finished, I was on MM 6.0.1 Thank you so much for the suggestion.
