Hi there @Youngrambo,

I am sorry to hear you are no longer seeing the update for your device. I definitely understand how updating your device can help it with performance and optimization. I would be more than happy to assist you!

In order to ensure you are able to receive the update properly; two very important items to keep in mind are you’re connected to Wi-Fi, and the device is plugged in.

The first thing we would want to check is to make sure the update did not go through already. This can be found by going to your Settings > About device > Scroll down to view the current Android version. If it shows a different software version than before, it would mean the device had been updated.

Sometimes, what can happen is the update is not able to go through, and your device will tell you to wait 24 hours before trying again. The good news though, is there is a workaround for this. If you go to your Settings > Date and time > Turn off Automatic date and time. From here you can set the date and time for 24 hours into the future, and then proceed to check for updates again.

After you have verified the update did not go through, and was able to change the time settings. I would recommend attempting to update your phone again. Our Device Support is great at providing these steps. Once you arrive, please choose your phone’s make and mode, and then click on Tutorials > System & storage > Software version.

Please let me know if this helps, or if you have any other questions. I wish you a wonderful rest of your day!

I have a Galaxy S6 Active that is still running Android 5.1.1 - from what I understand there is an Android upgrade available for this phone and potentially even an upgrade that will take it Android 7 (Nougat). The issue is that when I click on Check for Updates it always tells me I am already up to date, yet I am not. I am not using the device on the AT&T network (except when roaming in the US), I am using it in Canada on the Telus network, although I have tried doing this while roaming and connected to AT&T and it makes no difference. In the research I have done online, it appears that  the issue may be that the upgrade needs to be requested while actually connected to AT&T and with an active AT&T SIM in the phone - is that correct or can this be done in another manner?

yelp your not going to get updates unless you are in the USA connected to the att network with a active att sim card.

Thanks, I suspected that may be the case. I downloaded Smart Switch and have it working properly and it tells me I am up to date as well, yet I know for sure I'm not. Thanks for your assistance.
