Re: Galaxy S5 update

Hello @elboyero,

Welcome to the Community Forums! This is a great question, and I would be more than happy to address it for you.

The latest software version released for the Galaxy S5 is Android 6.0.1. With Android 8 being the latest version out, I do not believe Android 7 will be released for this device. I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Let us know if you have any more questions or concerns, I hope you have a nice day!

Too bad, don´t you know that Galaxy 5 is the most used Galaxy phone in the whole planet?

Re: Galaxy S5 update

Samsung has officially stopped providing support for the Galaxy S5.  Marshmallow is the last operating system update for the phone.
