Galaxy S4 keeps restarting on its own

After going back from "ultra power saving mode", my phone is nonstop restarting on its own. I can only use it when it is charging. Soon as I unplug it, it begins restarting over and over again. Tried a factory reset to no avail. Help!

Hello @turnkey317,

Oh no! This is terrible to hear! I have experienced the same issue with my device before and it is never a great thing to go through. You have come to the right place to get this taken care of. I would love to help!

With any device issue a factory reset is definitely the best option to take, I am glad to hear you have attempted this step already. This helps the device to default back to its original settings. Once the factory reset was complete, did the phone start rebooting automatically? Or did this happen after you installed applications on the device?

Another great step to take to correct any device having rebooting issues would be to remove the battery from the phone for 30 seconds. After this time, please be sure to insert the battery back into the device. When you have everything set, the next best thing would be to put the phone into safe mode. This feature will help detect if there are any third party applications interfering with the internal memory. To put the phone into safe mode, please power the phone completely off. Press and hold the Power key for one or two seconds to turn on the device. When the Samsung logo displays, press and hold the Volume down key until the lock screen displays.

If the device is still experiencing issues in safe mode, the next best thing would be to check into replacement options.

Please feel free to reach back out to us, we would be more than happy to support you. I wish you a wonderful rest of your day!
