I finally got the last two phones updated and they were a pain just like the first two. AT&T's software update seems to be a flaky piece of software. After a mix of killing the software update processes, clearing the update app's cache, baby-sitting the phone during the entire download (it failed once but luckily I got it to resume where it left off), sacrificing a goat, holding a seance, and saying the magic word while dancing around the house naked, I finally got the update to work. Don't they test these things? Come on AT&T.

YES THE MOBILE DATA TOGGLE IS STILL MISSING. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE FIXED IN THE NEXT UPDATE.

My phone upgradded to 4.3 by itself too, and now I am forced to use Google Maps 7.4, while I had kept my evices on Maps 6.14 so I could have access to My Maps. Now I lost that feature and I need it. I want back to Android 4.2.2 or at least be able to install Google Mpas 6.14. Can anybody help?

I'm not in the US, I'm actually in the Philippines and I'm using an AT&T model S4. I still don't have the updated software. It checks for any update, and then instantly shows Software Update Interrupted and there's no update available for my device. Is this normal, will I ever get to update my phone? Am I the only one not in the US that can't update their S4?

Same here, in the Charlotte area. I just want this slow d/l to STOP, but it won't let me. How can I effectively put a STOP to this, or can I refuse to install it after it finally finsihes its slow d/l?
Frustrating.

A few weeks ago I attempted to download the android 4.3 update and the download failed and since then the phone says the software is up to date (even though it is still 4.2.2) and is says I have to wait 8250 hours (yes that's what is says) to check for update. How can I rectify this situation? !

Above you will find a post by the community specialist for Att...you will have to follow the instructions and wait about 24 hours then they will email you and ask if they can call you today...they right not call but will manually push the update to you. Works perfect but won't download until you have WiFi.signal....if you don't do it that way you will never get it

Man this sounds like a nightmare. Reminds me of when a bunch of us were trying to get an update for our Samsung Infuse. AT&T released then froze it and kept pushing it back. We finally did a manual update with some other software app, kind of like a manual install after someone found the rom.
It was kind of like a hack I think cus it wasn't an official version but worked fine. Within a couple weeks AT&T released their official verson through kies.
By the way, why did they disable updating through Kies?
