Did software update on note 9.Hate everything it changed on my phone!!Can I change my phone back?
I did a normal software update and it changed everything that I was familiar with on my Note 9,Is there anyway to get my old settings an looks back??I hate the new look it changed everything!!!

Nope. Android 9/pie is for keeps.
All phones will get at least 2 OS updates in the lifetime. Yes, they move stuff around. (My mom has the same complaint about her iPhone).

You can't go back. This is how Google wants its phones to look and feel going forward. Even if you could roll back this update, if you got a new Android phone at any point in the future with the latest updates, it will have the same changes. Get used to it.
But with the cosmetic changes, there are some nice new features you might enjoy. Check them out https://www.android.com/versions/pie-9-0/

You mean this is how Samsung wants the phone to look going forward... You put a pixel 3 xl next to a note 9 with pie on both they look nothing a like. Almost all the cosmetic changes on the NOTE 9 are due to Samsungs new one UI. Pie did not really change much on the AOSP and pixel launcher.
