Device question

Everything I go to record something on my phone I get this msg: camera is currently recording audio.com.Google.android.Google quicksearchbox:interactive will not be able to record right now .......It makes it where I cannot record anything though my camera or any other app.and it constantly pops up even agree I hit ok. How do I get this to stop so I can actually record stuff again.

Thank you for reaching out on Community Forums!  When your device stops working as it should it is concerning.  I will gladly assist you with this. 

 

I researched more into this error and found it is an error with Google Now.  First step is to clear the Cache.  Here are the steps for a few of the more popular brands:

 

Samsung devices:

  • Clear app cache: Tap Settings > Storage and USB > Cached data > OK.
  • Clear system cache:
  • Hold down Home + Power + Volume Up until Fastboot menu appears.
  • Use Volume to highlight Recovery and press Power to select it (if you see the robot on its back, hold Power and press Volume Up once to access the Recovery menu).
  • Use Volume to select Wipe Cache Partition and press Power to confirm.

 

LG devices:

  • Tap Settings > Storage > Cached data.

 

HTC devices:

  • Tap Power off > Hold Volume down + Volume down to boot to recovery mode > Power to select.

 

Huawei

  • Hold down Power + Volume Up until Fastboot menu appears.
  • Use Volume to highlight Recovery and press Power to select it (if you see the robot on its back, hold Power and press Volume Up once to access the Recovery menu).
  • Use Volume to select Wipe Cache Partition and press Power to confirm.

 

Lastly, we have a great Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool for further troubleshooting.  Please make sure your device is selected and choose Audio for the issue.
