Dear AT&T - What is the plan for the S2 Freeze-ups?

It is obvious there is a major problem here, with the S2 freezing up and shutting down at random times.

 

Have you reproduced this problem yourselves?

 

What is the plan to remedy this?

 

Is there going to be an update specifically to fix this?

 

Is Jelly Bean going to be released to the S2? If so, when, and have you verified that it fixes this issue?

My wife and I were upgraded, for free, to the Galaxy S3 after I complained to them about what that update did to our S2's. It's a known bug on their part. I called and complained and both lines were upgraded for free without having to renew my contract. My suggestion - call them and demand to be upgraded to a different phone for free. It'll work.

I tried that. The line was "We used to have a policy of free upgrade to different model if you get a lemon..." (note - I even had the phone replaced and it still does it) "... but we don't do that anymore." The exact words from the support guy were 'tough luck'". I'm serious.
