Computer not reading my Galaxy S2

Hey Guys,

Just got a new S2, but my Mac nor my Windows machine will recognize the phone. I have Kies insalled on both machines, and I've tried most troubleshooting options... (turn the phone off/on, factory reset, enabling/disabling debug mode, etc...)

Anyone have a magic fix?

Greetz,

Apparently you HAVE to use the USB cord provided by Sammsung, the one I had laying around won't work. Not sure why that is, but Samsung says so, and it works.

Try re-installing the drivers. Also, try using a different USB port.
