Can not access cellular data

My friend and I joined an AT&T family plan last week. So far we can text and make phone calls. But we can not acess the internet with celluar data. The custom services asked for IMEI and SIM and refreshed for a couple of times but it is still not working. I have a motorola bought from Switzerland, it is flashed. However I was using T-mobile perfectly last month. She has a iphone 6s. It seems there is nothing else that AT&T can do...THIS IS SO WEIRD!

Hi @SYSBO2!

There’s nothing much more frustrating than not being able to use cellular data service.

Typically when using a phone from another carrier you’ll need to program the settings into the phone and we have a site that will help you. Please visit our Program correct data settings for non-AT&T devices page for these settings and steps on adding them to your Motorola phone.

iOS devices should not require manual programming of the data settings, however if you are unable to connect with an iOS device purchased from another carrier there is a link to Apple Support along with the settings you need for the phone listed on the site as well.

Please let me know if this helps and have a great day!

Thanks for reply! Actually the problem is with my phone. I am not sure how my friend's problem got resolved at AT&T store but for me it is because the customed ROM that I am using does not have the right radio firmware that is compatible with AT&T. I have fixed the problem myself.
