Can I use the ZTE AT&T prepaid handset in India with a local SIM from Vodafone?
Hi
I just wanted to know if I could use this handset in India too.
I have a local sim from Vodafone. This phone was used for the prepaid service in the US but now since i am in India - I would like to make use of teh handset. Hence this question.
Do i put the last four digits of the US woreless number or that of the SIM in INDIA?
If possible - I would like to put this handset to good use. Hence

DO NOT waste your time to get this AT&T ZTE Maven 3 unlocked or use in any Asian countries (Inc.India)
It do not have all the correct bands for coverage.

it depends if its not locked
according to other users here -correct me if im wrong pls --- @lizdance40, @sandblaster, @GLIMMERMAN76, once that you use your phone to prepaid card, it will be locked for 6months on the carrier

@graeco Any phone sold as prepaid is locked to ATT whether a prepaid sim is used or not. In other words, it is not the use of the prepaid card that causes it to be locked, it as already locked when sold.
