Battery drains quickly since last AT&T update

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that was working great until the last AT&T software update.  Now my battery drains in just a few minutes after charging it to 100% several times a day.  Help there has to be some way to fix this.  Yes I bought a brand new battery from Samsung and have the same issue as the old battery.  I am so tired of carrying around my power bank all day long and worrying I may miss or drop an important call because of it.

Having your battery drain quickly can be quite disheartening. I am sorry to hear this issue is occurring, and would love to get this resolved!


Since you have tried a new battery, I recommend using our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Select your make and model, and then your issue. This will provide personalized troubleshooting tailored to your device.


A last resort would be a factory reset. This will wipe your device completely, so be sure to make a backup prior! Instructions for this can be found on our Device Support Page. Select your make and model > TutorialsBackup & Restore. The reset instructions can also be found in here under Tutorials > Troubleshooting > Reset Device.
