Text messaging is certainly an important communication means in this age. I am sorry to hear you are having trouble receiving sms from one of your contacts. Let’s get started with some options to fix this problem!
The first thing you will want to do is make sure this contact doesn’t have your phone number blocked, as well as your phone is not restricting this number. Also, is this contact an AT&T user? If so, is he or she having trouble sending this type of messages to any other contact?
If the device settings doesn’t seem to cause the issue, I invite you to follow a series of steps through the Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Make sure to select your phone’s make and model, followed by Messaging.
