Alcatel 5044R battery drain
So I just got a new Alcatel 5044R and I am noticing that the battery life does not last long. I have disabled a couple apps that I know I will never use, have battery saver on, but no luck. I have only downloaded one app from the Google play store but according to the settings it isn't even using much battery life at all. I was going to disable Chrome except the factory browser won't even load...I just get a blank screen. Any ideas?

I suggest performing a factory reset. This will put the device back to its like new state, and narrow down if this is a software or hardware issue.

I have the same problem, it is very bad and frustrating. I'm lucky if I have 2 hours from full battery til it's dead, also a friend with same phone has same issue. Att please help with this, recall battery mabe?

Phone is junk. Not only does battery go dead very fast but the phone takes forever to load any and everything you can think of. I am very disappointed in this device and believe it should be recalled and all that have this device and are expearexperi difficulties such as I have described should have a improved phone sent out to them to make up for the huge inconvenience and waist of money.
