How do I add a downloaded ringtoneto my to the right ringtone list on my Alcatel Ideal phone?

Adding ringtone to different Android phones should be quite similar. Go to settings/ sound and vibration. Select ringtone and follow the path to the ringtone you want. Some device can only pickup the ringtone from a folder call "ringtone" In that case, you might have to create the folder and put the ringtone there if such a folder does not exist.

Go to all apps menu and then click on file manager
Go to phone storage
Copy the ringtone into the ringtones folder
Then go back to settings then Sound/ Notification menu
Go down to ringtones and your new ringtone should be able to be selected.
