ATT Trek HD tablet won't recognize external SD card

ATT Trek HD tablet won't recognize external SD card

AT&T HD Trek does not mount full size external SD card.  The card reader does power up and functions properly when tested on other devices.  I have tested multiple SD cards.  It is not a SD card issue (they are not defective or damaged).  This is an Android issue.  Please help!

Re: ATT Trek HD tablet won't recognize external SD card

Good morning @WFS2713.

Thank you for joining the Community Forums!  USB On-The-Go (USB OTG) external card readers are great to help copy data and content from your mobile device.  I want to help you with the answer why it does not want to connect to your tablet.

Currently the Trek HD 9020A does not support the USB OTG feature.  You can connect your tablet to your computer if you want to transfer to data to an external source.  Use the cable which came with your tablet to connect to a USB port on your computer. You will receive a notification when it is connected.

Please refer to the Device Support page to explore articles, tutorials, videos, and troubleshooting tools for your tablet.  I hope this helps you out.  Please let us know if you have further questions.

I wish you the best and have a great day!
