AT&T Shutdown 2G Service

Hi,

I was in Las Vegas during the weekend and had no service. I use a Huawei P8 Lite (international phone). The woman in the store told me that AT&T has a service shutdown for 2G phones in Las Vegas and LA. She also mentioned that the same shutdown is in several other cities, but she does not know which ones.

Could you please tell me in which other cities this problem occurs?

But why does my phone then work in Arizona (Tucson) and San Diego?

the phone supports one att 3g band 1900... vegas and LA are on 850mhz 3g. I am sure the area you are from has 1900mhz
