AT&T Lock method
Hello,
what kind of lock mechanism will AT&T cell phones use?
Network provider lock or SIM lock?
In other words, can I use an H2Owireless SIM card in an AT&T Prepaid cell phone that is still locked, because H2Owireless use the AT&T mobile network?

Yes, the H2O SIM card should work in an ATT locked phone.

Just an FYI it will work, but you won’t be able to unlock it unless it does 6 months on At&t prepaid.
