AT&T 4G LTE effectiveness on Asus Zenfone 5z (Not Version B)
I am thinking about picking this device (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DN5Y2W2/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=AG6JED5BUHYJO&psc=1) up and use it as my daily driver. I noticed that it says "4G LTE does not work in the US", does that mean 4G LTE will not be available 100% of the time? I also noticed the supported bands for this device is "3G WCDMA B1 / B2 / B5 / B6 / B8 / B19 ; 4G LTE B1 / B2 / B3 / B5 / B7 / B8 / B18 / B19 / B20 / B26 / B28 / B38 / B39 / B40 / B41", and I'm curious how effective 4G LTE and 4G in general would be for this device in the US.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I see that this particular device isn't compatible with 4G LTE; if you were to get this phone, you would have 3G service in the United States. Hope this helps!

It will till they kill off 3g and then it wont work anymore as a phone on ATT

They don't list every phone. It appears they list only ones the sell, or have sold. As I mentioned, I'm on 4G LTE right now, on a Zenphone 5z.

Again you don't understand your phone makes calls over the 3g network. They list every phone that got certified. Your phone is not volte certified for att so it won't work. Your data will work after 2022 but you won't be able to make calls.

Ah, ok. Well I don't have to worry about it anyway. As I've never had a phone more than two years. And the Zenfone 7 should be out next month. Thanks.

Expect the zenphone 7 won't be certified either. Asus for some reason does not like the is carriers

I guess we'll see if they do. From what I've read, volte was added to the Zenfone 6 in March 2020. If not I guess there's always LG, one plus, or Google.
