4.0.4 update issues

Since I have done required update!

when phone goes to sleep, will not awake when button pressed.

I have to power all the way down and restart and back to the same ride again.

Works for a while then back to the same again.

This all started after update.

So if system programmer or tech resposible out there?

How you going to fix this?

last update did wonders!

Post your steps, please

Re: 4.0.4 update issues

I called ATT and they confirmed that there was a bug in the software an after telling them enough was enough; I told them that the next step was to go to Verizon.  They are now sending out a HTC phone.  Funny because they said it would be an older inspire 4g, but the email states that they are shipping a HTC one x.  It does not matter to me.  Just a phone that does what it is supposed to do.

Re: Galaxy S2 4.0.4 update issues

Galaxy S2 shutting off in idle mode : check this discussion too.

It's a software issue. since didn't occur until update performed. They won't admit it

Re: Galaxy S2 4.0.4 update issues

I have been having issues since update to software.  For instance, when I take a picture, everything blacks out and I can't see a thing until I go back to home screen and start over.  Also, when I am texting, it takes awhile before the text posts and it's like I have a ghost image of the texts behind the one I am trying to send until it finally posts.  Anyone else have this issue and do you see any issues for someone that isn't eligible for upgrade until Aug and has no insurance on Galaxy S II?

Re: 4.0.4 update issues

My wife's SGS2 goes through battery in a flash, and the same sleep of death, has to pull battery to reboot. Started the very day she updated. She's fed up. She asks why my phone is fine. I'm rooted with Jellybam rom. AT&T needs to wake up and address this issue quick. But they wont, they haven't. Their head is in the sand. But they don't want people rooting their phones, uninstalling all the AT&T bloatware. Well here goes another one.
