Starting a new AT&T PREPAIDSM 8GB Promo Plan

My wife and I want to start new AT&T PREPAIDSM 8GB Promo Plans. This will include transferring our current numbers to the new service and getting new SIM cards. At what point in the process does the coverage start? I would assume that if we are paying for the year, the coverage would run until a year from when the devices with the new SIM are activated rather than a year from when we first pay, but I want to verify that before proceeding.

That is correct but it’s not quite a year, it’s 360 days or twelve 30 day periods. Prepaid “monthly” plans are actually 30 days, regardless of the number of days in the month.
