I can't use my prepaid balance for games.

Google Play keeps saying I'm not authorized to use my prepaid balance contact phone company. I've tried purchasing games with my Prepaid balance it keeps telling me I have no authorization to do so.Which I don't understand I have $38 in my account why can I not use that money for games or music.I don't want that money to go to waste I'd rather get something out of it.I don't have purchase Blocker on either so I don't understand why I can't do it.

As a prepaid user?

Neither ATT or Verizon allow refills to be used for anything other than service.  Post paid allows up to $100 a month.

lol that's how it was from 2007 to 2012 so they must have changed that.Just like how you used to spend only $10 a year to keep the account active.
