Dead zone
I was in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago yesterday and completely lost all phone service for several hours. Customer service did nothing. I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau why don't some of you people who are having problems do the same? Perhaps we could institute a system where att I would be financially responsible, a free month or two of service when they screw up?

I don’t think it was a dead zone. I saw other posts about a major outage throughout Chicago yesterday. Even if it is a dead zone, no carrier guarantees coverage in any specific location. What exactly did you expect customer support to do? If you were looking for some credit to your account, even on the most expensive plan, a few hours would only amount to a few cents in credit. What do expect to accomplish with the BBB complaint?
