Changing account owner for AT&T prepaid multi line account

I realize that the account ownership can be transferred in AT&T wireless multi line accounts, but this page mentions that it is not possible for prepaid accounts.

Is it possible to transfer ownership for a multi line prepaid account? If so, how would one go about doing that?

We want to look into that for you, @Yahari!

In order to transfer billing on a multi-line account it's required that that the account holder change their plan to a single line plan. The customer willing to accept responsibility for the account must change start their own multi-line account plan and invite members to join.

We hope this information helps!

@ATTCares, thanks for the response. Can you clarify how would this procedure affect the billing for each user? If we all went on separate single line plans before going on a new multi-line plan, would we have to pay the non discounted rate in the interim? Also, would the billing cycle change?
